Join our team: we are hiring an insulation installer in Santa Barbara County, California. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. You will seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
