Great opportunity: vertical milling machine operator (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Caswell County, North Carolina. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
