Fire and safety officer wanted in Merced County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Merced County, California. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. On the job you will handle: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Rotating shifts.
