Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Marshall County, Iowa. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
