Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Miner County, South Dakota. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Rotating shifts.
