Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Phillips County, Montana. You will work at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off.
