Now hiring: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Charlotte County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Day to day you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
