Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Dange-Shuni, Sokoto State. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day to day you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
