Assembly technician — Vale of Glamorgan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an assembly technician in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. Day-to-day duties: • Follow the work instruction sheet for each station • Pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor Ideal candidate: • Can read work instructions and basic measurements • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred 4+ years on the tools preferred. £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
