Hoist operator • Bulloch County, Georgia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Bulloch County, Georgia. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On a typical shift you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
