MIG welder • Benton County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Benton County, Iowa. The job is at a busy production line. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
