Great opportunity: horizontal milling machine operator (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Jasper County, Iowa. You will work in a toolroom. Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day to day you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control.
