Immediate opening: steel erection rigger (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Bracken County, Kentucky. You will be based at a container port. You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Six days a week, one day off.
