Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Meals and transport allowance provided.
