GTAW welder • Sibley County, Minnesota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Sibley County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
