Immediate opening: crane rigger (Idaho)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Latah County, Idaho. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Part-time with flexible hours.
