Ladle pourer wanted in Merced County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Merced County, California. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring 6+ years on the tools preferred.
