Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Coosa County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness We offer $20 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts.
