Cnc production machinist • Day County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Day County, South Dakota. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. The role involves: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection We offer $250 per day plus benefits.
