We are recruiting: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
