Brickwork mason • Niobrara County, Wyoming

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Niobrara County, Wyoming. The job is on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Your main tasks: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Six days a week, one day off. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
