Gas service engineer • Cayuga County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Cayuga County, New York. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces On a typical shift you will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
