Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Hancock County, Indiana. The job is in a tool room. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day to day you will load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
