Now hiring: we are hiring a dish pit attendant in Lamar County, Mississippi. You will be based in a hospital canteen. On the job you will handle: • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass Ideal candidate: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
