Fire and safety officer wanted in Midland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Midland County, Michigan. You will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Full-time with occasional weekends.
