Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Polk County, Tennessee. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Day to day you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; season and marinate meat on request; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
