You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors The role involves: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
