Offshore rigger wanted in Columbiana County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Columbiana County, Ohio. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
