Vacancy available: precision welder (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Oscoda County, Michigan. You will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Part-time with flexible hours.
