Lathe operator wanted in Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Washington County, Vermont. You will work in a packaging factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery On the job you will handle: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
