GMAW welder wanted in Upshur County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Upshur County, Texas. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
