Rebar worker wanted in Whitley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Whitley County, Kentucky. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. The role involves lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
