Immediate opening: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Colusa County, California. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day-to-day duties: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
