Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Meade County, Kansas. The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
