Turning centre operator wanted in Hickman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Hickman County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits.
