Countertop fabricator • Denali Borough, Alaska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a countertop fabricator in Denali Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish On the job you will handle: • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
