The role involves install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Rotating shifts.
