Now hiring: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Montgomery County, Iowa. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Your main tasks: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
