Urgent requirement: stainless steel welder (Adamawa State)

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Mayo-Belwa, Adamawa State. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
