Great opportunity: we are hiring an insulation worker in Story County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise façade. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Day-to-day duties: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
