GTAW welder • Logan County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Logan County, Ohio. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
