Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile mason in Tompkins County, New York. The job is at a bathroom renovation job. The role involves grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Full-time, day shift.
