Overlocker operator wanted in Spartanburg County

Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
