Plasterer's mate — Stoke-on-Trent

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Stoke-on-Trent, England. On a typical shift you will clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; check walls for plumb and level as you go; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Six days a week, one day off. £7,800 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
