Gardener — Nsit Ibom

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a private estate garden. Your main tasks: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
