Now hiring: we are hiring a joiner in Lunenburg County, Virginia. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
