Sand plant operator wanted in Chicot County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Chicot County, Arkansas. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
