Lathe operator • Opobo/Nkoro, Rivers State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Opobo/Nkoro, Rivers State. Day to day you will record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; set up and start the machine as per the job card. Requirements: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges ₦170,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
