Plant operator wanted in Smyth County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Smyth County, Virginia. You will be based in a textile mill. Day to day you will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing. You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
