Immediate opening: powder coater (New Jersey)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coater in Warren County, New Jersey. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms On the job you will handle: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
